INTEGRATIVE PSYCHOTHERAPIST BSc (Psych) MA (Integrative Psychotherapy) MBACP

Hi, I’m Harriett

….an integrative psychotherapist passionate about helping people struggling with difficult emotions or life events. I believe we’re all motivated to find our true potential, but sometimes, things happen to us & we get stuck along the way. Therapy isn’t always easy because it can mean facing things out of your awareness. But it’s a path worth travelling & I will support you 100% of the way with warmth, compassion and no judgement. All ages welcome from 12 years old.

My Career Path:
Medical Journalism & Integrative Psychotherapy

Learning about psychology and medicine is a passion for me. My degree was in psychology (BSc) but I also wanted to write, and fortunately, landed a role in medical journalism. It took me around the world and expanded my knowledge about physical and mental health; I was at the cutting edge of innovations in medicine. Then something within me yearned to get closer to understanding more about people suffering with mental health issues so I embarked upon intensive training to become an integrative psychotherapist. It took me five years, two of which included placements to accrue 200 hours working with clients. One of my placements was in youth counselling for the NHS, where I continue to volunteer.
